Scammer: u/Whiteboy_nyc
Hey I think I’ve been scammed by u/Whiteboy_nyc. He came to me with an offer for google ads account with $500 and I would only have to pay $50. We talked for about a day and the next day I decided to purchase because it sounded like a good deal. He has now said that I needed to pay $100 because I hinted he may be a scammer and I think I was right. He asked me to PayPal through friends and family so he couldn’t get a chargeback. It’s been over a day and I’ve sent many messages to him including 1 email. I feel angry for letting myself getting scammed but don’t want it to happen to anyone else. Is there any way I can get this money back? I’m currently saving for future business opportunities. Don’t work with u/Whiteboy_nyc

Shopify for Affiliate Marketing?
Hey Everyone,
I originally started a Shopify subscription because I had intended to create a drop shipping E-Commerce store.
But as I explored Affiliate Marketing more, I felt it made more sense to make a shift in strategies as I could focus more on website content creation, advertise premium blue-chip products, and not worry about the head aches that come with managing the shipment of inventory.
My original intent, though, was to keep Shopify because it has a lot of great tooling for online stores which would keep my options open for the future. However, I'm running into issues on formatting. The website seems to favor a store first format (which makes sense, given the purpose of Shopify). But is there a way to disable this for now to allow my website to focus on the affiliate content I'm creating for the website?
If not, does it make sense to close it down and start up on Wix or Squarespace?
I appreciate any insight the community can give.

Researching other affiliate sites
I was researching other affiliate sites and came across this interesting article from ahrefs. https://ahrefs.com/blog/amazon-affiliate-websites/
I know I’ve heard of tools you can use to see what plug-ins and templates sites are using to conduct business. I know when I learned about it was moreso in the e-commerce space but figured it’s probably reflective over to the affiliate space as well.
Anyone know what some of these tools are?

Getting Started
Hi,
Any guidance appreciated. Taken the first steps of buying domain > hosting > wordpress setup > website setup. Seems like next step is to build content that brings in traffic. Main 2 methods are organic (seo) and inorganic (paid, manual spreading, *ignoring for now). In terms of specific next steps around creating strong content is the primary factor here keywords and quality? Any other major factors I'm missing out on that I should think about/steps I may have missed or should consider. All advice appreciated!

I was wondering do anyone uses traffic builders, software, or cloud-based programs that helps you to build landing pages and drives traffic to your website/landing pages? Starting to learn affiliate marketing
I am an upcoming freshman, trying to learn new things and skills. And affiliate marketing came to my mind again and it motivated me again to start earning money already than to get a degree to get a sustainable job.
Just asking if I, living in Asia, could get the money that I earn from selling products that I promoted in other countries, for example US? I had this question on my mind for a while before signing up for an online course and hope I won’t regret investing time for this even though I invest it to learning more skills for college.
