Has anyone had success with pay per call that is willing to share their strategies?
I am currently running text ads and call only ads on Google, I have had success in home service categories but payouts are much higher for things like auto insurance, life insurance, etc.
It’s difficult to build a high converting landing page to drive calls when there isn’t a real “brand” behind it and CPCs are so high. Call only ads have been a nearly complete failure for me due to the high CPCs, low quality scores, and constant accidental clicks driving up the cost per lead. They would seem like the most obvious recipe for success but have actually been the lowest ROI strategy for me so far.
I have tried lead forms that end with a call option as well as just straight call driven pages with multiple click to call options scattered throughout the page but still struggle to get a positive ROI in the more competitive categories.
Has anyone here had success on the search network? Or any other channels like the display network or Facebook?
