Ok I’m actually asking for a client. I am a web designer, and a new client reached out to me for help with social media marketing. I’m trying to figure out if social media ads are even worth their money.
This person is already spending over $1000/mo on blog posts. Including the $XXXX they paid for the website, they’ve already invested $10,000+ on this venture. They have earned $0 in revenue because a previous freelancer never enabled ads.
With brick-and-mortar businesses, I feel comfortable charging a client let’s say $2k/mo because I know my work will bring in more than $2k/mo for them.
I have no idea what to expect with AdSense. Sure, I can build a following and attract new readers on social media, but will it pay off in the end?
I hate to say it but truthfully I don’t fully believe in this person’s business and don’t know my services would actually help them in the end. Even if I do a killer job for less than $1000/mo, their business model doesn’t seem sustainable.
Any thoughts? How do I figure this one out? Thank you 🤙
