With many products in my niche (especially ebooks/books) selling for about a 4% commission rate on Amazon, I can't help but feel robbed.
That means if I sell 1 million dollars worth of books, I make slightly less than $40k profit. That's not even accounting for the advertising views I'm giving the company/product, which don't convert.
I would rather make my own book, and even if I make 80k worth of sales, I'll get to keep at least 60k profit.
