The dominate affiliate marketing strategy appears to be something along the lines of an advertorial. You are a subject matter expert generating long form content, and you recommend products and services to your audience. Obviously, this is a proven winner, but it takes time to build up your following and reputation.
What about a different approach, where you simply drive traffic to a page with a ton of products and hope for a purchase now and then? Something like 'Check out these great Amazon deals!'
